There are some ongoing changes here at RxLaboratory and rxlaboratory.org. As a user of the platform, we have important information for you about these changes: please read this carefully.
In short : RxLaboratory becomes RxLaboratorio, and we’re not only changing our name, but building something brand new, including our entire website and platform, and that will impact your account on this platform, and thus your access to your products and services. Don’t worry, you won’t lose anything, just keep reading for all the details.
Moving to RxLaboratorio
RxLaboratory was available on rxlaboratory.org, and we’re moving to a new platform at our shiny new place, rxlaboratorio.org.
All our stuff (tools, tutorials, books…) is already available on the new platform, which is better looking, easier to use, and has better performance.

A new free software, motion pictures, and learning community!
RxLaboratorio is a new free software, motion pictures, and learning community!
Up until now, RxLaboratory was an entity run by Nicolas “Duduf” Dufresne, but it’s always been in his plans to transform it into a non-profit organization. This day has come! We’re now a legally constituted nonprofit anational association, aiming to promote free and open tools for audiovisual media production.
The seemingly minor name change is very symbolic though: from the English “RxLaboratory” name, we’ve chosen the more universal and anational “RxLaboratorio” Esperanto translation.
You can get the tools and learning resources shared by the community on our shiny new platform rxlaboratorio.org, where content and performance have been improved to provide a smoother user experience.
This change also means we will soon be releasing new open source tools, new tutorials, new books… Stay in touch!
We’re opening this platform to developers and creators from all over the world to promote their open tools, software, add-ons, tutorials, masterclasses, conferences, user guides and books, to all the people who need them for their creative and technical work.
We will soon publish more information about this, but if you’re a content creator, and you’d like to share your content on our platform, you can already contact us. Content creators get their share of the donations collected by the platform.
You can join the community, become a member of the association, share your content and make a donation on donate.rxlab.io
Our Discord server stays the best place to exchange ideas, help each other, show your creations and your process.
