Amongst other things, DuME can handle multiple inputs and outputs to mix all kind of media streams together.
It can read and write many, many formats, and has native support for the most common ones, like MP4 (h.264/5), MOV (Prores...), Webm (VP8/9), openEXR...
It can even render Blender scenes and After Effects compositions, using them as any other stream! Together with a render queue, this turns DuME into a nice rendering manager.
With its nodal view, DuME makes it easy to map your streams, and adjust them. It comes with 450+ filters (using the open-source libavfilter) and has native support for the most used filters like color correction, stabilize, denoise, crop, resize, audio split/mix/downmix, etc.
Of course, there's color management, handling standard color spaces, and including OCIO to easily fit DuME into color-managed pieplines.
DuME is very fast, and can be fully automated thanks to a CLI, or through a TCP Socket and a Python or ExtendScript API.
